Biography

Dr. Snyder was born and raised in Northern California and it was here — with ample exposure to forests, oceans and mountains — that he developed his enthusiasm for nature. His whole life he has been very active and enjoyed sports including swimming, skiing, and golf.

At the University of California Santa Barbara, Dr. Snyder earned his undergraduate education degree in Ecology and Evolution. While at UCSB, he was a research SCUBA diver and participated in marine ecological experiments and data collection.

His medical training took him all over the country. He attended medical school at the University of Toledo in Ohio. Following medical school he completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center. Here, in New York, he also met his wife. Next stop was Lexington, Kentucky for his Orthopaedic Sports Medicine fellowship and watching some exciting horse races!

Dr. Snyder has been living in Colorado since 2014. He and his wife were soon joined by their twin boy and girl, who were born in 2015. Spending time with his family and enjoying the many outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer is his favorite pastime.
